The Korg KPR-77. With all samples recorded directly to 1/4" analogue tape there's some lush processing across three different kits, tape clean, tape saturated and a driven kit. Over 280 samples of an often overlooked drum machine. Weighing in at 1.6GB it's recorded using Red Room Audio's True Ensemble Recording technique, with one microphone position and an abbreviated set of articulations. 3 dynamic layers and up to 7 round robins included though, the same as in the larger product. This is labelled as a "small" sampling of the larger Palette Orchestral Series, but features strings, woodwinds and brass ensembles. If your issue is not solved, you can submit a support request.

Usually $199, this is a huge 6GB library worth snapping up. The interface is built around the northern lights, as you play the strings, the aurora swells and flows to the sound. It features flexible scripted legato and portamento/glissando. Here the claps and functions are similar but with even more options making Handclap Boss not only great for classic clap sounds, but for pops, clicks and other tripped out percussions. Arctic Strings is a cinematic strings library designed from the ground up for easy to use ambient sustained strings.
Kontakt instruments full version#
It works in the NI Kontakt Player too, so you don't even need the full version on Kontakt! Mega!īased on the classic Boss HC2 hardware with a clap circuitry similar to the 808 and 909, the original HC2 had extra tweaking options. There's over 13,000 recorded snippets here, with built in MIDI grooves, a mixer with compressor and transient designer and even more tweakable controls. This is a hidden gem, and not only a great instrument, but a great educational tool for learning about mic techniques and what type of mics to use when recording drums.
